Medical assisting is another healthcare profession that is showing plenty of promise. The majority of medical assistants attend a one or two year educational training program. There are however some offices that are willing to offer their medical assistant to-be training that is on-the-job. Those who choose to pursue this occupation can find work in doctors’ offices. They will be responsible for making sure that the office runs smoothly and in an organized and efficient manner. The work can be described as being clinical assisting or administrative in nature.
